Our Story

A building raised in a day.

There was a time in America when neighbors came together to raise a barn in a single day.

Long before project managers, smartphones, and endless subcontractor delays, communities gathered, worked side by side, and accomplished extraordinary things through craftsmanship, trust, and hard work.

Over the past several years, we've had the privilege of working alongside Amish craftsmen on our own building projects. Through those experiences, we saw a need. Property owners were looking for skilled crews and dependable project coordination, while many talented craftsmen preferred to focus on building rather than marketing, estimating, and managing projects.

Out of that need, Henderson Build Partners was born.

Our vision is simple: combine traditional Amish craftsmanship with modern project management to help customers make remarkable progress on their projects in a single day.

From planning and materials to transportation, tools, coordination, and crew management, we handle the details so property owners can focus on the finished structure.

We're excited to launch our first projects this summer and look forward to serving families, farmers, churches, and businesses throughout Indiana County and the surrounding region.

About Us

A little about who we are…

The Henderson family Adam Henderson and family

Henderson Build Partners grew out of real life — family, building projects, relationships with the Amish community, and a desire to help others bring their own projects to life.

Pastor David and Theresa Henderson have spent much of their lives serving others. David is a Wesleyan pastor in Indiana, Pennsylvania, and has been in ministry for over 25 years. Before answering the call to full-time ministry, he served in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer and later served as a police officer.

Theresa teaches in the School of Education at Indiana Wesleyan University and has a heart for helping families, churches, and communities grow stronger.

Together, David and Theresa have four children, all of whom have served active duty in the United States Army. Their children are all married, and they are grateful grandparents to seven grandchildren.

Their son, Adam Henderson, is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. He served as an Infantry Officer and Ranger Instructor and is currently completing his MBA through Carnegie Mellon University. Adam and his wife, Tessa, are the parents of two young children and share a passion for faith, family, hard work, and serving others. Together, they help lead Henderson Build Partners, bringing a commitment to clear communication, dependable project management, and quality craftsmanship.

Henderson Build Partners began to take shape through the Henderson family’s own building projects on the Henderson Homestead and through the relationships they developed with skilled Amish builders. Over time, that experience became a vision: combining traditional Amish craftsmanship with modern project coordination, communication, and planning.

For us, this business is about more than garages, barns, and structures. It is about serving people well, honoring hard work, building trustworthy relationships, and helping families and property owners bring their projects to life.

We are thankful for the opportunity to serve families and property owners across Western Pennsylvania.
